Sunny December

Yes, this picture was really taken in December, sandals and all.

This picture is taken on a hill overlooking the La Jolla shores. This beach is about a 10 min. drive from our house. Danny surfs right next to the Scripps pier that you see.

 

 

Naomi is my big helper in the kitchen. Here we are making cookies, and of course, if Mom is wearing an apron, she has to put hers on as well!

 

We got to enjoy my friend's children for an afternoon. Nate is four and Kenna is just a month youger than Naomi. (These 2 girls are best friends already.)

 

Naomi and Mom frequently visit this park, which is located in our apartment complex. Not much is there but grass, sand and a slide, but we both enjoy it (and at times, Mom even gets to relax on a beach towel and read a magazine while Naomi scoops sand).

 

 

Naomi enjoyed the Christmas decorations in our home. Each morning we would plug in the lights to this above decoration and our Christmas tree. (As you can see below, we went all out this year and bought a Huge tree.)
