In July, we were able to spend over a week in the Frese family cabin up at Hume Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in central California. We went with my sister, Mary Ann, her husband, Matt, and their daughter, Malisse. We filled each day as best as we could to seize our wonderful vacation opportunity. Some of the things we did included: a dip in the lake each day, great food, frisbee golf, milk shake dates, nap time for the kids, Bible reading, backpacking to a remote lake with the kids on our backs...not recommended!, kids playing in the dirt, and lots of laughing.
